From Research to Real-World Applications.

Smart Cities: more than a trend, the wave of the future. Twelve applications that turn IoT sensors, cloud platforms and data analytics into everyday services for municipalities, schools, businesses and farmers.

Smart Cities

Applications built on R&D results

The same building blocks behind our research projects (wireless sensor networks, cloud data platforms, real-time dashboards and analytics) power a family of ready-to-deploy applications. Each one runs on any device (smartphone, tablet, notebook), keeps a history of measurements with charts and regular reports, and can be fully customised to the needs of each organisation.

The applications are presented in the “Έξυπνες Πόλεις – Εφαρμογές” (Smart Cities – Applications) series of GRIDNET S.A., Volos.

5

Water-quality monitoring

Good water quality is vital for aquatic ecosystems and for people. Sensors for direct immersion or insertion in water flows (sea, lakes, rivers, tanks, treatment plants) record physicochemical quality in real time and at high resolution.

  • Continuous monitoring for management, health and sustainability
  • History, charts and regular reports on any device

6

Air-quality monitoring

Monitoring gaseous and particulate pollutants is a key management tool for assessing environmental targets and taking the right measures, with real-time recording through a web platform.

  • Nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide
  • Particulate matter PM2.5 and PM10
  • History, charts and regular reports
